Earlier this year Dementia-friendly Alton were awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary Service.

DFA Coordinator and founding member Karen Murrell and Geoff Goodall recently represented us at the recognition garden party at Buckingham Palace. As you can see from the photos both William and Kate were attending.

We are so proud of what Karen and her band of wonderful volunteers have achieved for the people of Alton, making such a huge difference to people living with dementia
