With Christmas festivities over a few of our lovely members braved the wet weather trecently to attend our regular Friday music cafe - thanks to staff at Alton Community Centre for opening up for us. Getting groovy with Harry Bassett Music - we enjoyed numbers including Crocodile Rock, Delilah, Shake Rattle and Roll, Rock around the Clock, Tequila and ended with Sweet Caroline all before midday!! Then time for an afternoon nap methinks . Friday music continues next week with Joe Murrell and his banjolele
In the meantime why not join us for a wintery stroll round the town park to check on the sensory garden to see if the bulbs are coming through on Monday 2 Jan from 2-3.30 pm. So far weather forecast is promising so we're planning to be there in the garden with hot chocolate and nibbles - weather permitting why not wrap up warm and join us.
If you prefer to stay in the dry and warm, have a look at videos of our recent parties and festivites on our Dementia-frinedly Alton Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Dementia-friendly-Alton-946494408765601
Lastly, we wish you a happy, and a healthy New Year!
