Why not join us at Edgar Hall for the big help out?
With Dementia-friendly Alton and Alton Men's Shed having just moved in there's lots of jobs to be done - inside and out! Once we've done our jobs there's always time to put the kettle on have have a chat:)
Dementia-friendly Alton is a small group of local volunteers liaising with businesses and stakeholders in Alton to promote dementia-friendly community that provides vital social support to people living with dementia in Alton and the surrounding area.
On Thursday 8th May 2023 we'd love you to come along to Edgar Hall near Anstey Park from 10am - 1pm where there will be a Volunteer Morning. We are welcoming new volunteers to come along and help us tidy up the outdoor space.
1pm-2pm a light lunch will be available.
2pm-4pm: Join in activities in the main hall with Dementia-friendly Alton and find out about volunteering with them. You could also visit Alton's Men Shed, just down the corridor, where they are holding a Show and Tell session for anyone interested in finding out more about what they do.
