Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy

Bridget (Renée Zellweger) faces new challenges in parenting and love. Widowed from Mark Darcy (Colin Firth), she puts a brave face on her bereavement and raises her two children to cherish their father’s memory. She goes back to work as a TV producer and back on the dating apps – older and wiser. She’s pursued by a younger man and there’s a spark between Bridget and her son’s science teacher that is kindled during a rain-sodden outward-bound trip. Yet former lover Daniel (Hugh Grant) muses on their enduring friendship which also brings unexpected emotion.

“The fourth film in the series, is the most satisfying and unexpectedly touching Jones outing since the first movie.” [ Guardian ]
