Dementia-friendly Alton had a few 'full on' days of activities and support for people with dementia and their carers last week - as the photos clearly show. Continuing to develop the outdoor space at the Alton Community Centre with financial support from councillor Graham Hill (see photo) and McCarthy Stone as you can see. Our members can enjoy the friendly cafe support both indoors and outdoors from 1100-1300 every Wednesday. Usually on a Wednesday after enjoying lunch in the Regency Cafe we deliver a 'Love to Move' session from 2-3 pm - all welcome and free to attend.

This week, however, with the support of Parish of the Resurrection, Alton we held our Forget-me-not church service followed by afternoon tea and a sing-a-long enjoyed by ALL (see pics and check out the action on the Video to see what fun we had).

Do join us on Wednesdays at the Community Centre or check out our website for full details of all events and support sessions. Huge thank you to Waitrose & Partners and Iceland Alton who donated everything we needed for our cream tea afternoon.
